First reported on by Deadline, A3 Artists Agency COO Todd Quinn announced to staff that the agency will “cease operations” on February 12 as that they are “unable to continue operating in a sustainable manner.”
The news is said to have caught many by surprise as the company had sold off its Digital and Alternative divisions to rival agency Gersh in late 2023, followed by a bombshell lawsuit made against chairman Adam Bold by the company’s CEO Robert Atterman and President Brian Cho. The two accused Bold of causing “the destruction of a previously healthy agency” and leading with a “corrosive and toxic leadership style” as well as accusations of sexual harassment against “nearly all of A3’s female employees” and often “appeared to be intoxicated or on drugs”. In a statement to Variety in December, Bold retorted and denied the allegations, calling the lawsuit “a shake down and pure extortion. All of the allegations about drug use and sexual misconduct are completely false and I have evidence to prove it.”
Some of the agency’s top talent include Katee Sackhoff (The Mandalorian), Jason Alexander (Seinfeld), professional wrestler Adam Copeland aka Edge, Rick Hoffman (Suits, Billions), Anthony Michael Hall (The Dead Zone), Brian Tee (Chicago Med), Mason Alexander Park (Quantum Leap) and Vivica A. Fox (Kill Bill).
