Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. has released the official trailer for the next chapter of the Monsterverse, Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, and it looks, to say the least, absolutely wild. After Godzilla vs. Kong put the two iconic monsters against each other, it looks like now they’re teaming up to take down a new threat.
The new film “delves further into the histories of these Titans and their origins, as well as the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and
tied them to humankind forever,” says an official statement from the studio.
Director Adam Wingard and screenwriter Terry Rossio return to the franchise following the success of Godzilla vs. Kong, along with returning cast members Rebecca Hall, Bryan Tyree Henry and Kaylee Hottle, along with new cast members Dan Stevens, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen.
